The Sonata, Tucson, and the all-new Accent received the "Best Buy" award in the mid-size, compact crossover SUV and subcompact car categories.  The "Best Buy" rating signifies that a vehicle is ranked at the top it's class and is strongly approved by the editors.  Additionally, the Hyundai Genesis and Elantra received a "Recommended" stamp of approval in the large car and compact categories.  Although they were not ranked at the very top of their category, they are still worth strong consideration by Consumer Guide.

Elantra Lineup Grows with Coupe, 5-Door GT

After winning the 2012 North American Car of the Year, the Elantra is keeping the pedal to the metal by introducing two new variants- the athletic coupe and a five door hatchback called the GT.  The 2013 coupe will maintain the sedan's fluidic design and showcase a particularly aggressive wedge-shaped profile that is just as aerodynamic as it looks.  The new Elantra will be longer and wider and will ride on a longer wheelbase, delivering both a smoother ride and increased interior space.  Both of these vehicle are expected to be hitting dealerships later this year.
