Hyundai Sonata and Genesis Win 2012 "Top Scoring Car Awards" from Total Car Score

Total Car Score recognized the 2012 Hyundai Sonata and the 2012 Hyundai Genesis Sedan as top scoring cars in their first annual "Top Scoring Car Awards".  Not only did the 2012 Hyundai Sonata win the top scoring position in the midsize sedan segment but it also scored the second highest vehicle among the 35 awarded vehicles, second to only the Lexus LS.  While the Genesis Sedan won in the luxury midsize sedan category.  The "Top Scoring Car Awards" cover all major vehicle categories for the 2012 model year.  A vehicle's total car score is it's combination of scores from all the top automotive review and rating sites.

4th Annual Disability Awareness Walk & Festival

Hyundai continues to provide critical safety technologies to their customers well before government mandates come into effect by offering a brake pedal electronic throttle override capabilities on all of their models.  This government mandate has been under consideration by the NHTSA.  Hyundai development teams have been less concerned about final government mandate timing, focusing instead on the immediate safety and assurance of their customers.  Beginning with May 2012 production, fully 100% of all U.S. Hyundai models now provide the assuring safeguard of the brake pedal throttle override capability.
