Hyundai has recently released The Walking Dead Special Edition Hyundai Tucson in honor of the hit TV show, The Walking Dead. As many of you may know, Hyundai has released several concepts of their Zombie Apocalypse Veloster, Elantra and Santa Fe as well as made a Walking Dead Chop Shop program where fans can go and build their own doomsday vehicle but now, Hyundai has taken the Tucson and turned it into a doomsday prepper's vehicle that you can actually go out and purchase. Obviously, it will not have the spinning saw blades, bone crusher or the spiked plow but The Walking Dead Special Edition Hyundai Tucson does come with an ash black exterior paint job with red accent graphics. It will have black leather interior to make it easier to clean up because well, the zombie apocalypse can get pretty messy. All of The Walking Dead Special Edition Tucsons will come standard with AWD so that if you need to do some "off-roading" to flee from the mass swarms of zombies then you can do so without worrying about getting stuck. It will also come with roof rack rails to tie up all of your survival gear. Speaking of survival gear, it will also come with a 72 hour survival kit for the occasional undead blockade. There are also four stickers that come with the Tucson so that owners can display where their allegiances lie. These vehicles are limited edition and Hyundai has only made a handful of them. Out of the handful that were made, Hendrick Hyundai North has received two. They should be available for sale within the week. Call our Internet Department today at 843-572-6020 to schedule your test drive or for more information.

Preparing Your Car For Spring
Winter can take a toll on your vehicle so make sure you take care of your basic maintenance issues before they become major and expensive. Here are a few things you can do to prepare your car for spring.
1. Check your wheel alignment: Proper wheel alignment allows your car to handle properly. If your vehicle is properly aligned then your vehicles tires will not ware out prematurely. If your car pulls to one side when you let the steering wheel go then you may need an alignment. Spending $84.95 can improve your car's handling and prevent you from having to spends hundreds of dollars later down the road.
2. Check your tire tread: You should check your tires several times a year. Whenever you check your tires, you should check to see if your tires are wearing evenly. To check your tire tread, you can place a penny into the tread of each tire. If the tread isn't covering a portion of Abe's head then you likely need new tires.
3. Make sure your battery is strong: If your battery is more than four years old and sometimes takes a moment to get your motor to start then you should take it to your local auto parts store or dealership to have it tested.
4. Top of your coolant: As the weather starts to warm up, it is important to make sure your car has plenty of coolant to cool off your motor. Be sure to do this when your car is cool and has not been running before. If you check your coolant while your car is running or is still warm then this can cause serious injuries.
5. Check your brakes: Make sure that your brakes have plenty of life left before going on those long summer road trips!

Four Tips To Keep In Mind After A Fender Bender
With millions of drivers on the road, accidents seem to happen all over the place. Here are four tips to ensure that your vehicle is properly fixed after you have been involved in a fender bender.
1. Choose your own body shop.
Insurance companies will usually refer some body repair shops but keep in mind that you can choose what body shop will do the repairs on your vehicle. Some shops like to cut corners and will offer cheaper costs in order to entice insurance companies. Do you research and check reviews on line with choosing which body shop you want to go with.
2. Avoid aftermarket parts!
Always ask about what parts are being replaced. A lot of repair shops will use aftermarket parts in order to keep the cost down. Aftermarket parts are typically cheap imitations with lesser quality. Always ask for factory (or OEM) parts when something needs to be replaced.
3. Make sure the paint matches
Matching paint can be a difficult task. Especially if there is a pearl finish or flake in the paint. Whenever you arrive to the body shop to pick up your vehicle, ask them what parts are original and what was painted. Take a few steps back and compare the originals to the freshly painted, sometimes it helps to put an object between the two to separate them. Also, check for tape lines, over spray and orange peel. Orange peel is when the clear coat dries into a bumpy finish. Your paint should be smooth just like it was when it left the factory.
4. Check warning lights
Sometimes a wreck can cause your warning lights to go off. If that happened after your wreck be sure to check and see if those issues were corrected. Warning lights that are on can indicate that the car's on-board computer may need to be reprogrammed.
